Imagine you have a beautiful garden yet is has become entwined with weeds. In order to restore it, you must remove all of the destructive growth that threatens its future beauty. Now, as you take a closer look at the problem you become aware that in order to remove the weeds you will also lose several of your cherished plants.
At this point there is no happy ending, yet to become complaisant in your pursuit for a healthier garden will only encourage more damaging growth in the future.
The first step in this situation is ACCEPTANCE.
You cannot hope to change the future if you refuse to accept that complaisance is not the answer.
Complaisance happens when the situation looks like being too challenging. You may say, there is new growth in the beautiful garden so you will let them be and see what happens. Hopefully the plants survive the congesting weeds.
ACCEPTANCE in life will always be a challenge for it will leave you with choices that are filled with emotion. If you are faced with such a challenge, ask yourself if you are an encourager for a better future or complaisant in the hope that all may turn out right if you leave it alone.
As you are born Children of GOD you have been blessed with many gifts to help you on your journey through life. You have been given the capacity to grow in all dimensions of life and to preserve healthy growth in all generations to come.
